Why Sead Kolasinac should be worried about Arsenal’s new interest

Sead Kolasinac

Arsenal signed Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer in 2017 from Schalke FC and at first he had looked like one of the Gunners best signings, however, the Bosnia international has picked up numerous injuries that have made him quiet at the Emirate stadium.

His limited playing chances made Nacho Monreal ahead of him at the Emirates Stadium.

And so far Monreal has turned out to become one of Arsenal’s most consistent players.

However, Nacho Monreal is getting old (he is 32 years old) and could likely hang his boot anytime, this has probably made Arsenal show interest in Liverpool’s left back defender, Alberto Moreno.

Alberto Moreno is one of least used Liverpool players this season and the Reds are ready to let him go in January with his current contract set to lapse at the end of the season.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are reportedly waiting until the end of the season before they make the move for Alberto Moreno so as to get him on a free transfer.

Sead Kolasinac should be worried over Alberto Moreno’s possible move to Arsenal, this is because unlike him, Moreno is a fast-paced player and an ‘attack minded’ defender which is what Unai Emery needs.

If the Liverpool left-back moves to Arsenal, Sead Kolasinac will surely be dropped from the Gunners first eleven.
