Former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand has disclosed that he is a big fan of Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard and says the attacker is a “nightmare” to play against.
Top quality attacker
The Belgium international forward is generally regarded as one of Europe’s top attacking talents and the Chelsea star has been earning numerous praises for his brilliant displays for the West London outfit since his switch to Stamford Bridge from Ligue 1 side Lille in 2012.
Eden Hazard has helped to fire the Blues to two English Premier League crowns since his transfer to Stamford Bridge and the exciting attacker was voted PFA player of the year in 2015.
Hazard, 27, also proved the difference for his side as they claimed a 1-0 victory over rivals Man United in the Emirates FA Cup final last month at Wembley Stadium.
There have been questions raised about if the Belgian has been truly fulfilling his entire potential at the Club or not.
Absolutely unplayable
However, Man United legend Rio Ferdinand is clearly a huge fan of the exciting forward.
Speaking to BT Sport, Ferdinand said: “If you add goals to what he does, there’s not many players on the planet who can live with him.
Ferdinand told BT Sport that Eden Hazard is a nightmare to defend the ball against. He’s small and very strong. He claim that Belgian has pace, but doesn’t seem obsessed with scoring goals.
