Emerging reports claim that the English Premier League outfit Man United are in the chase of Monterrey midfielder Carlos Rodriguez for his signature in the coming summer window.
It is claimed that the Red Devils officials’ have already held talks with the player’s agent and will move in for him as soon as talks are being concluded.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reported to be the one interested in the signature of Carlos Rodriguez as he is a big fan of the star player who impressed with LIGA MX Clausura this season.
However, it is yet to be seen if Carlos Rodriguez would be a good addition to Man United but he has been able to help his team win the CONCACAF Champions League where he made 8 appearances and handed one assist.
Carlos Rodriguez has been rated as a good player who has the quality of moving forward with the ball to help push for more attacks but it has been observed that he lacks the defensive work rate which would be a blow to his game.
Meanwhile, he could still serve as a replacement for Nader Herrera who has left the Old Trafford to join the French Ligue 1 outfit PSG in the coming season.
