Arsenal manager, Unai Emery is obviously proud of his team and is not shy of expressing this after their 3-2 win against Cardiff on Sunday.

Both strikers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette had got their first goal of the season in the five-goal thriller.

Aubameyang and Lacazette enjoyed the pre-season tour together where they both found the back of the net on different occasions.

Praising his side, Emery said his Arsenal players have always been in control despite not winning their first two games of the season.

Speaking at the post-match news conference the Spanish manager said the spirit of the team is now calm and the confidence is very high.

He, however, noted that the team will continue working hard as usual as much work is needed to be done.

“We controlled the match for 70 per cent of the 90 minutes.”

Emery praises his two strikers and hinted on pairing the duo in the future.

He had earlier refused to start both players side by side but seem to have had a change of heart.

Arsenal now have six points to boast of from four games and can now build on improving its number of wins.

The win has no doubt thrown a positive mood to the team as expressed by the manager.
