Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata has insisted that he decided to move to Premier League club Chelsea for the good of his football career after Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo recently admitted that the Spanish La Liga club have been feeling the absence of the Spaniard.
The Spanish striker decided to quit The Santiago Bernabeu in search of regular football in July and chose to join Italian tactician Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, signing a five-year deal with the west London side.
Alvaro Morata has made a solid start to life at the Bridge, netting seven goals and providing three assists in 10 English Premier League matches.
The 25-year-old striker headed home the winning goal for Chelsea as they secured a 1-0 win over rivals Manchester United in the English Premier League last weekend.
Real superstar Cristiano Ronaldo last week said that the Spanish club were missing the absences of Morata after the Los Blancos sold him in the summer.
However, the Spain international striker has insisted that he is sure he made the best decision in leaving the Spanish club to sign for Chelsea back in July.
The Chelsea striker will be expecting to be on the starting line up for the Blues when they return to League duty after this weekend’s international break with a clash with West Brom.
