Arsene Wenger and Arsenal will look to return for Bordeaux youngster Malcom this summer transfer window after failing to sign him in the winter window.
Arsenal going back for Malcom
According to the London Evening Standard, Malcom will once again be considered when the season ends, despite the winger only joining Ligue 1 side Bordeaux last summer.
Both Arsenal and City rivals Tottenham Hotspurs were linked strongly with a transfer for the Brazilian, who has been performing well in the French Ligue 1 this term.
There had been a couple of suggestions that Tottenham had won the transfer race to land him in the New year, with a deal prepared that would see him head back to France on loan until next summer.
Prolific forward
Malcom has scored eight times in 20 league starts, in a struggling Bordeaux team.
He netted and added a Man of the Match outing during his side’s most recent win against UEFA Champions League-chasing French side Lyon.
The two North London sides were in a head-to-head tussle for the winger’s signature who said playing in the English League would be a dream.
But President of Bordeaux Stephane Martin and new coach Poyet were adamant the £40million winger wouldn’t see a switch go through in the winter.
