Manchester United have been put on alert over the availability of four Real Madrid players, according to reports.

Real are currently on an impressive run in the Spanish La Liga and Champions League in this season but some of their stars are unhappy with their lack of chances at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Reports in the Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim that James Rodriguez, Alvaro Morata, Mateo Kovacic and Luka Modric have told the club that they want to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

It is also understood that Manchester United will swoop for James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata but might face competition from Chelsea who are reportedly keen on landing Morata this summer.

United boss Jose Mourinho is believed to be a long-term admirer of Morata’s abilities but will face intense competition from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte who wants a reunion with the Spaniard after their time at Juventus.

Meanwhile Mateo Kovacic is understood to be unhappy over his reduced role at Real Madrid this season and wants to leave the club.

It is also understood that Modric is not enjoying life under Zinedine Zidane at Santiago Bernabeu despite their impressive run this season in the Champions League and the La Liga.
