Chelsea allegedly still wants a summer transfer deal for CSKA Moscow star Aleksandr Golovin.

The playmaker enjoyed a brilliant campaign in his country, Russia and has attracted a lot of interest from a number of top sides across the continent of Europe, including FA Cup winners Chelsea.

For several months, reports linking the Russian with a summer move to Chelsea had gone down but as per fresh suggestions from Tuttosport, as reported by Italian publication Calciomercato, the West Londoners remain out to sign the World Cup goal scorer.

Aleksandr Golovin, who is an important player for the host nation Russia in their attempt to progress in this year’s FIFA World Cup, impressed all through last term because of his ability to influence matches in the final third and creativity.

CSKA want to keep star man
CSKA Moscow wants to keep the superstar but if claims are to be believed, the club will be ready to sanction an offload if their demand of €25m is paid. Also, it’s suggested that the Russian side are asking for a 25% sell-on clause in any transfer deal for the midfielder.

Although, if Golovin goes on to perform well at the FIFA World cup on home soil this summer, CSKA Moscow could demand an even higher transfer fee for their most prized asset.
