According to reports from Italy, Juventus defender Alex Sandro is ready to renew his deal with the Italian Serie A champions, including a huge pay rise.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was in the transfer market for a wing back reinforcements ahead of Chelsea’s return to the UEFA Champions League.

Juventus star Alex Sandro, who top his wishlist, has grown into one of world football’s best left-backs since joining Juve back in 2015.

Juventus were unwilling to sell Sandro this summer, having sold both Leonardo Bonucci and Dani Alves respectively, the Serie A Giant with offers of up to 70 million Euros having reportedly been rejected by the Turin-based club.

Juventus have long stood firm on their stance that if a player hand in a transfer request away from the club, that they will permit it, but defender repeatedly told the Serie A club that he wanted to remain at the club.

As a result, Juventus are ready to reward the strong Brazilian’s loyalty with an improved new contract.

The new contract, which according to reports will see Sandro’s weekly pay rise from 2.8 to 5 million Euro each season, is expected to be penned over the coming days.

As Juve’s general policy, there is not expected to be a buy out clause included in the deal.
