Sten, who is the agent and father to Chelsea center back, Andreas Christensen has disclosed in a recent statement that the 22-year-old player will leave Stamford Bridge in January if he doesn’t get enough playing chances.
Andreas Christensen had been a sensational player at Chelsea last season with the promising prospect of becoming one of the best defenders in the EPL, however, the arrival of Chelsea new coach, Maurizio has seen him earn limited playing chances.
This is because Maurizio Sarri prefers to start Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz at the center back.
The Danish international has featured for the Blues in two games and none in the Premier League.
However, Andreas Christensen’s father, Sten, affirmed he will discuss his son’s future with Chelsea if things don’t improve before Christmas.
According to the Telegraph, Sten in a recent statement said “If his situation doesn’t change around Christmas, we’ll obviously schedule a chat with Chelsea and say, ‘okay, what can we do for Andreas? Can we move him?’”
Christensen’s father went on to rule out any loan transfer while adding that the defender will leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis.
He said “For me, it’s not a loan again.
Sten hinted that it is either Chelsea give his son some playing chances or he leaves.
