Arsenal manager Unai Emery has told contract rebel Aaron Ramsey not to be distracted by the talks of his exit from the club but remain focus until his last day at the Emirates Stadium.

It is almost certain that the Wales international will be leaving the North London side at the end of the season after failing to agree on a new deal with the club.

However, Emery who praised the player for his spirit urged him to keep it up until his contract runs out.

According to the Spanish manager, Ramsey had started the last game from the bench and put in a wonderful display within the 35 minutes of play in addition to scoring a goal.

He stressed that same spirit is expected of him on Monday against Leicester City either he starts or come again from the bench.

The former PSG manager had pointed to the former Cardiff midfielder as an important player in his team but noted that he has no power over contract issues regarding his players as all responsibilities lie in the hands of the management.

Emery, therefore, urged all players to maintain the same level of mentality and preparation that ensured their 6 games unbeaten run in the Premier League.
