Experienced Chelsea defender Gary Cahill could have left the club during the winter transfer window but the ex-Three Lions of England star opted to stay at Chelsea.

Gary Cahill has been at Chelsea since he swapped Bolton Wanderers for Stamford Bridge in January 2012.

The 33-Year-Old was part of the Blues squad that won both the 2012 Champions League title and the 2013 Europa League trophy.

He was also part of the Chelsea team that won two Premier League titles during the 2014/15 season and the 2016/17 campaign.

Cahill, who scored five goals in 61 appearances for the England national team, has been a wonderful servant for Chelsea.

He was expected to leave the club last month but the former Aston Villa centre back has managed to stay at Stamford Bridge until the end of his current Chelsea deal which expires in the summer.

Gary Cahill has been on the outskirts of the Blues team since Italian tactician Maurizio Sarri replaced compatriot Antonio Conte as the Chelsea manager last summer.

Sky Sports revealed that Cahill turned down three offers from three different clubs to stay at Chelsea beyond the January transfer window.

Fulham, Juventus, and Monaco all attempted to sign him but the player rejected their offers.
