Premier League champions Leicester have been drawn at home to Chelsea in the third round of the EFL Cup.
Claudio Ranieri’s men are entering at this stage of the competition due to their European commitments, and will take on the Blues – who overcame Bristol Rovers in the second round.
Manchester City will also face a Premier League side having been drawn to face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, but top flight rivals Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all coming up against lower league opposition in Northampton,
Nottingham Forest and Derby respectively.
Elsewhere, Accrington Stanley were rewarded for overcoming
Burnley by drawing another Premier League side in West Ham, and Gillingham , victors over Watford in the second round, will take on Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
