Kane Hails ‘Incredible’ Sterling After Hattrick Performance

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has praised the impact of Raheem Sterling following his hattrick performance for England against Czech Republic in their Euro 2020 qualifiers.

England national team skipper Kane showered the incredible Sterling with high praise during his interview with Sky Sports.

Raheem Sterling was in sensational form for England as the Three Lions produced a five-star performance to beat Czech Republic 5-0 at the Wembley Stadium on Friday night.

The former Liverpool attacker gave England the lead in the first half off an assist from Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho before Harry Kane added a second goal for the Three Lions from the spot on the stroke of halftime thus giving his team a 2-0 lead.

Sterling added two further goals in the second half to complete his hattrick before a Tomas Kalas own goal in the 84th minute wrapped up a thumping 5-0 win over the Czech team.

It was a sensational performance for England manager Gareth Southgate and his players ahead of their away trip to Montenegro.

Raheem Sterling made history for England after he became the first Three Lions player to score a treble for both club and country within the same month for the first time in 20 years.

Premier League legend Alan Shearer was the last player to achieve that feat in 1999.
