Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ready to accept a pay-cut at Manchester United as he prepares his return this week, according to reports.

The 35-year-old has progressed with his recovery from a nasty ACL cruciate injury he sustained with United’s during last season Europa League, sparking initial fears that his career at the Old Trafford was over.

However, Ibra has proved he still got what it takes to play at the highest level in football with videos of his rehabilitation from the scary injury.

Prior reports have suggested that the Swede might be considering a return to his former club, AC Milan with speculations that his agent, Mino Raiola has held talks with the Italian giants over a potential move.

However, recent reports have it that Ibrahimovic is keen on returning to Manchester United after the club allowed him to use their training facilities for his rehabilitation from injury.

According to Daily Star, the lanky striker is ready to accept a huge pay-cut to return to Old Trafford this summer; He was on £300,000-a-week before his injury but he will be willing to get a substantial reduction to £125,000-a-week.

Reports in ESPN claim that Ibra could make his much-anticipated return to United this week and could serve as back-up for Romelu Lukaku who has had a brilliant start to life at the Old Trafford.
