Edinson Cavani

Manchester United will now face a stronger Paris Saint Germain team in the second leg of the Champions League last 16 after it was hinted that Edinson Cavani could be available for the game.

Edinson Cavani was absent in the first leg of the clash at the Old Trafford as he has not played since he injured a tendon in his hip during a Ligue 1 game against Bordeaux on February 9, before the United clash.

However, he could feature in the second leg in Paris after the club manager Thomas Tuchel on Tuesday, stated that Edinson Cavani has held two successful pieces of training with the team and he would be accessed on Wednesday morning to be sure he is ready for the game.

Edinson Cavani was on the sideline alongside Brazilian international Neymar but the former Barcelona star will still be absent in the second leg as he is yet to recover.

Meanwhile, Man United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has boasted that his side will deliver a surprise in Paris as they hope to qualify ahead of the Ligue 1 outfit.

The Red Devils were defeated 2-0 by the French Ligue 1 outfit at the Old Trafford which means they will have to record a 3-0 win against PSG.
