According to The Mirror, North London giant Arsenal are reportedly prepared to offer England international midfielder Jack Wilshere a new long-term deal after the midfielder’s return from injury.
Considering the limited number of minute he has played for the Emirate club in the last few of years, few Gunners players get as much media hype as midfielder Jack Wilshere does.
The midfield maestro was supposed to be the next big thing from England when he burst into the limelight several years ago, but a series of serious injuries have put his playing career on hold.
After spending the last campaign on-loan at Bournemouth, the 25-year-old midfielder has slowly rebuilt his playing career at the North London club this campaign with an impressive run of good outings in cup competitions.
Jack Wilshere’s current Arsenal contract with the club expires in the summer, but now, reports claim that Arsenal are prepared to offer the midfielder a new and improved four-year contract.
This is something which the Gunners absolutely have to do. The midfielder has been brilliant since returning from an injury layoff, and if he continues at this current rate, then he will be a major player in Gunners first-team English Premier League squad.
Arsenal fans will be hoping this can get sealed up soon and Jack Wilshere can return to the starting lineup regularly.
