Chelsea star player Willian has sent warnings across to the Manchester duo of United and City not to relax fully at the top of the premier league table despite their superb start to the season.
Chelsea have already dropped five points at home this term after losing to Burnley and getting a draw with Arsenal few days ago.
And while the two Manchester clubs currently have a better edge over the premier league champions, Chelsea winger Willian has reminded the red devils and the citizens that his side were also slow to get going last season, but they eventually won the Premier League title before the last game of the term.
Speaking recently about Chelsea’s slightly unimpressive start to the new campaign, the samba star who played a key role in his side’s ability to win the title last season, reminded Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola that it is more about how a club finish than how they start.
Last term, the blues lost back-to-back games against Liverpool and Arsenal before going on a 13-match winning run that helped put them in a good position to emerge victors.
Chelsea had a difficult summer where they lost out on some of their top targets including Juventus’ Alex Sandro, but have managed to stand firmly since their opening day disappointing defeat.
