Chelsea winger Willian is aware of the threat posed by Premier League leaders Liverpool ahead of their league meeting at Anfield on Sunday evening.

Both teams have different objectives going into the game with Liverpool hunting down a first league title in almost three decades while Chelsea are in a keenly contested race for the Premier League top four.

In his pre-match thoughts ahead of the game, Willian told reporters that Liverpool is a dangerous team before adding that the Blues are prepared for the tough test.

Liverpool fans won’t forget Brazilian international Willian in a hurry after he scored one of the two goals that sank their Premier League title challenge in 2014.

The Reds last challenged for the Premier League title in 2014 and they were within touching distance of a first league title in 24 years before Chelsea.

Things didn’t go their way in that game as they suffered a 2-0 loss at home to the Blues.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard famously slipped for the first goal scored by Demba Ba in the first half before Willian wrapped up the win towards the end of the game.

The Reds have not won against Chelsea in the last six meetings which is a Premier League record for the Merseysiders.
