Why Klopp must beat Sarri to this player’s signature

It’s no more news that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is interested in Germany and RB Leipzig’s forward Timo Werner.

The Reds manager is a longtime lover of the youngster’s attacking ability and he has since shown his desire to lure him to Anfield stadium.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are also in the race for the deadly and in-form striker who has scored 55 in less than 100 matches.

With the Blues growing interests in Werner’s signature coupled with Leipzig’s desire to let go of the player, Klopp must speed up his move for the German international.

Werner is a proven goalscorer who will surely add more threats to Klopp’s attacking style of play.

  • Why Klopp shouldn’t be concerned about this player’s proposed departure

He is presently in a great and rich vein of form and his addition to the team will help the Anfield outfits score many goals in their quest for this season’s Premier League trophy.

Apart from his productivity in front of goal, the 22-year-old’s work-rate is second to none. He is often seen all over the pitch as he always loves to help his team pick maximum points even if it means going back to defend.

His versatility is another reason why Klopp must not let the young compatriot slip off his hands this month.

Werner can feature as a centre-forward, right winger and as a left winger. He will provide more options for the former Borussia Dortmund to choose from.

Meanwhile, Divock Origi could be used as a makeshift for the German forward because RB Leipzig wants the Belgian as Wenger’s replacement
