Cengiz Under

Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma star Cengiz Under has been on the radar of North London side Arsenal for the past weeks but latest reports reveal that he has met with another English Premier League side Manchester United with talks held for a possible deal in this winter transfer window.

The Turkish international has impressed a lot this season and has been able to attract interest from a number of clubs including Tottenham, and Bayern Munich.

With United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking forward to improving his squad, he has identified Cengiz Under as a perfect fit and he is ready to do anything to land him at the Old Trafford this term.

The Red Devils interim boss has won the hearty and confidence of the club’s owners which is the reason why he was given financial backing to add more strength to his squad as they bid to win the race for a top-four finish in the league so as to qualify for the Champions League next season.

However, Cengiz Under has got a contract with AS Roma until 2022 with a release clause of £50 million but there are indications that he will not see out his contract at the club with the numbers of interests lined up for him.
