‘Welcome to Stamford Bridge’ – Chelsea to sign £30m-rated star

According to British media reports, Premier League giants Chelsea are sure of being able to seal a move to land Jack Grealish from Championship side Aston Villa this summer transfer window.

TEAMtalk is claiming that Chelsea are becoming increasingly certain that they will beat a couple of other English Premier League sides to get the 22-year-old to join them this summer.

The same article states that the Championship side value Jack Grealish at about £40million.

However, it is suggested that the Blues are ready to pay £30m and loan the player straight back to Villa for the whole of next campaign.

The same report states that the player himself wanted to remain at his current side for another year despite the side’s failure to gain promotion back to the English Premier League.

As per the same report, Arsenal, Everton, Tottenham, Newcastle and West Ham all are also interested in a swoop for Grealish this summer window.

The Blues are in the market for a couple of new recruits this summer window as they bid to assemble a team capable of winning the English Premier League title next campaign.

The West London outfit finished fifth on the Premier League log and won the Emirates FA Cup last term under Italian tactician Antonio Conte.
