Video: Giroud reaction when Alvaro Morata missed the first goal against Mol Vidi

Chelsea played against Hungarian side, Mol Vidi in the Uefa Europa League on Thursday evening.

The Blues had a lot of chances to score more than one goal against Mol Vidi but Alvaro Morata lost most of the goal chances before he finally found the back of the net.

There was one particular scene that would have been a goal for Chelsea but Alvaro Morata took the wrong kick.

Many of the Blues felt sorry for the Spanish striker with many believing he doesn’t have the confidence to score goals for Chelsea.

When Alvaro Morata missed the chance, the camera showed the reaction on the face of Chelsea second striker, Olivier Giroud seated on the bench.

The world cup star felt sorry for Alvaro Morata and went ahead to stare at the replay on the screen of the giant TV.

Well, Alvaro Morata would later score for Chelsea in the second half of the game, he was seen crying on Willian’s shoulder during his goal celebration.

Morata has been struggling to perform at Chelsea and Olivier Giroud would likely take his place in the first team.

He has scored two goals this season, not enough for the player of his quality.
