Latest claim by Arsenal manager Unai Emery is not too positive on what to expect in the winter transfer window which reopens in the coming weeks.

This is after he was asked on what to expect with the long list of absentees at the club’s defence.

234Sport can report that Rob Holding will no longer be available for the Gunners this season after a Knee injury he sustained last week.

Arsenal captain, Laurent Koscielny has also not been available for the team this season and is set to make his first appearance in Thursday’s Europa League clash against Qarabag.

Also, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Shkodran Mustafi have been confirmed to be missing Sunday’s Premier League clash against Southampton due to suspension while Konstantinos Mavropanos is also injured.

The entire long list makes it important for the North London side to have more additions in the team but the Spanish manager seems not too positive about any deal.

The former PSG boss had admitted that his side will be in need of new additions but stated that having a good transfer will not be easy for the Gunners to make.

This could pose a problem to the Arsenal team in their bid to secure a qualification to the Champions League next season.
