Unai Emery’s choice for Welbeck’s replacement will shock you

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has reacted to claims that he is on the verge of securing a replacement for Danny Welbeck who is in injured and feared out of the season.

It is confirmed that Welbeck suffered a significant damage by breaking his ankle in Arsenal’s 1-1 game against Sporting CP in the European League which means he will be out for a longer period of time.

The Spanish manager stated he will not be in January transfer market for the player’s replacement, hoping that the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and French striker Alexandre Lacazette.

With his long absence, the former PSG manager stated that he will look inward for players who can step in to serve as a cover for the former Manchester United.

According to him, the U23 team, as well as Eddie Nketiah, would be considered for selection as he argued that they have all improved and can fit into the first team for the challenge.

Meanwhile, there are suggestions that Reiss Nelson who is having it good with the German Bundesliga side, Hoffenheim might have his loan spell being cut short so as to continue his progress at the Emirates Stadium knowing that there would be opportunities for him.
