Adam Lallana has been on the fringes of the Reds team this season and has played just 158 minutes of Premier League football for the table toppers.
The 30-year-old has been affected by series of injuries in the last two years.
He was kept out of the Liverpool squad at the start of the season with a groin problem.
Adam Lallana became a Liverpool player in 2014 when controversially exited Southampton in a £25m deal.
