Why Unai Emery is a better coach than Arsene Wenger

Unai Emery

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has claimed that there are enough evidence in the current Arsenal team to prove that current manager Unai Emery is way better than former manager Arsene Wenger.

Wenger had ended his 22-year-reign as Arsenal manager winning a number of titles, a feat that makes him the most successful manager the club has ever had in its history.

However, the Frenchman’s forceful retirement from the job brought a new manager Unai Emery who seems to be establishing himself quickly at the club and winning the hearts of the fans.

Emery had recorded two defeats in his first competitive games in charge of the North London club against Manchester City and Chelsea respectively but he has moved ahead to winning nine consecutive games in all competitions.

The North London club are now in the 4th position with just two points behind the joint league leaders.

More to that, Balague says the Spanish manager has not only exhibited his greater knowledge of the game than the former manager, but he also shows he loves coaching with the evidence in what he has done with youngster Emile Smith Rowe.

According to him, Emery had taught the young lad how to time his runs into the box and how to decide when to get into the box which according to him has paid off with the player applying that against Qarabag for his final goal.
