It appears Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has resigned to losing German midfielder Emre Can at the end of this season.
The German boss has made it known that his relationship with the talented player will end well if his countryman indeed leaves Anfield at the end of this season.
Can will be out of contract at Liverpool at the end of this term, and he has been attracting interest from various top European clubs.
He has been heavily linked with both Juventus and Manchester City in recent times, but the Serie A champions have promised to do all it takes to bring him down to Turin at the end of the term.
Emre joined Liverpool in 2014 and he has evolved into one of the best defensive midfielders in the premier league. He is now an important member at Anfield. At the moment, the German star has started 9 consecutive games for the Merseysiders.
And speaking after his side’s 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town on Tuesday, manager Jurgen Klopp said he isn’t bothered by the news linking the player away from Anfield. According to Klopp, what really matters is that Emre keeps performing well on the pitch.
Meanwhile, the German midfielder has refused to give a clear answer to questions surrounding his future at Anfield.
