Sokratis Papa reveals certain thing about new Arsenal life
Arsenal defender Sokratis Papa has explained how elated he is to have joined the club even if he misses his former German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.
Sokratis arrived at the North London outfit in the last summer transfer window and he is gradually becoming the heart of the defence with his improved performance of recent. So far, he has had 19 league games to himself this season.
Speaking ahead of the Europa League tie against Rennes later in the week, the Greek defender who could not stop Tottenham from picking a point at Wembley in the North London derby said he happy with his progress.
According to him, it is usually difficult for a player who is familiar with the German Bundesliga to easily blend in the Premier League but he has got a better experience, stressing that the English league is the best in Europe.
He, however, confessed to have missed Borussia Dortmund because if the Stadium and the fans, noting that there is no atmosphere as big as it is in the world.
Meanwhile, Sokratis backed his former club to defeat Tottenham in the UEFA Champions League as his Arsenal side will face Rennes on Thursday in the Europa League.
