‘Sell him’ – Manchester United Fans Ribbed Player Apart After Chelsea Defeat

The FA Cup final has come and gone, but it appears some Manchester United fans are yet to move on fully after the unfortunate defeat.

Jose Mourinho’s side clashed with the West London club on Saturday at the Wembley Stadium, and the red devils were unable to win the silverware despite going into the game as favourites.

Although Antonio Conte boys were resolute all through the game, the red devils battled to create clear chances to score against the Stamford Bridge club. Eden Hazard’s first half goal denied manager Jose Mourinho the chance to finish this season with a trophy.

Although a number of Man United stars were not impressive on Saturday, many fans chose to focus more on Marcus Rashford while criticising the side….

Romelu Lukaku couldn’t start the game due to injury issues, and Mourinho decided to play Rashford. Unfortunately, the Englishman couldn’t put up any reasonable performance before he was substituted in the 73rd minute.

The 20-year-old failed to get behind Chelsea’s defense, ran about to no avail, and he kept on losing the ball to his opponents.

Of course, the fans took to social media to vent their anger on him, with a fan asking Jose Mourinho to ‘sell him’ as quick as possible.

We shouldn’t forget Rashford is travelling with the rest of the English party to Russia for next month’s World Cup. He must work hard if he is to make his country proud in Russia.
