North London giants Arsenal will be hoping to make top four of the English Premier League with a victory when they play Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday.
Ahead of the match, manager Arsene Wenger has revealed his team news and provided injury update with updates on England duo of Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck, and Spaniard Santi Cazorla.
Theo Walcott missed last weekend’s derby victory over Tottenham Hotspurs after falling ill shortly before the match and he was not part of the travelling party to Germany for Arsenal’s UEFA Europa League loss at FC Cologne last night.
Arsene Wenger has disclosed that the 28-year-old has returned to training and should be fit for selection against Huddersfield next weekend, but the visit to Turf Moor is coming too soon for the Englishman.
Danny Welbeck has recently returned from a groin injury as he played his first match in six weeks on Thursday having been an unused sub against Tottenham last weekend.
He was subbed off at half-time against FC Cologne leading to speculations he may have sustained an injury but Arsene Wenger has said the substitution was planned beforehand.
The French tactician also said Spain international midfielder Santi Cazorla has continued to recover pretty well from a severe Achilles problem that has ruled him out of action for over 12 months.
