Arsenal have received some good updates in their chase of Bordeaux star Malcom after Tottenham are reportedly set to drop their interest to sign the Brazilian winger.
This is as per the Daily Mail, who claimed that Spurs are set to pull out of the race to land the 20-year-old.
The news publication are also stated that this would allow the Gunners a clearer path to bring in the Brazilian and that the winger is allegedly valued at about £45million by his club Bordeaux.
So far this campaign, the youngster has impressed supporters with his displays for the French club, with the starlet showing club faithful he’s full potential.
This season, the starlet scored a total of seven goals and provided five assists in 21 matches across all competitions for his current club, a respectable number considering his young age.
Last term, he also performed pretty well for the side, netting seven goals and providing five in 37 league matches for the French outfit.

Should Tottenham eventually drop their interest to sign the attacker, it’ll be a major boost for the Gunners, who’ll have a much easier time pursuing the starlet.
