Lyon legend Cris has revealed that it would be difficult for the French Ligue 1 club to hold on to highly rated midfielder Houssem Aouar amidst transfer rumours linking him with a move away from Groupama Stadium.

Cris spoke about the Lyon schemer in a chat with RMC Sport.

2006 World Cup winner and ex-Roma striker spent his entire football career at the Stadio Olimpico.

The 20-year-old has emerged as a transfer target for both Liverpool and Spanish champions Barcelona ahead of the winter transfer window.
