According to reports, Jose Mourinho believes he can pair the duo of Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic together in a 3-5-2 system at Manchester United without any issues.

Zlatan is now back to full fitness and is expected to return to full action when his side clash with Newcastle United on Saturday at Old Trafford.

The former Barcelona man was the player with the highest goals at Manchester United last season despite being his first season at the club and in the premier league.

He picked up a fatal injury before the end of the campaign, and the red devils signed Romelu Lukaku from Everton for a whopping £75m during the summer transfer window as his long-term replacement.

The Belgium international has inherited his central striker role in Jose Mourinho’s squad, and has quickly adapted to life at the club by besting some early records set by some of Man United’s legends like Ruud van Nistelrooy and Eric Cantona.

And now that Ibra is back, it is understood that Jose will love making use of his top stars together on the field. And since he has used a 3-5-2 system properly in the past, he reportedly believes he can fit the two forwards in by adopting the formation occasionally.
