Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has said that Brazil international defender David Luiz has been included in the matchday squad for the away clash with West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

The Chelsea manager and David Luiz had a much-publicized bust-up prior to the international break that saw the former PSG defender dropped to the stands from the matchday squad for their English Premier League win over Jose Mourinho led Manchester United.

However, Italian tactician Antonio Conte is set to forget the issue with the player and the Brazilian is in contention not just to bet back to the matchday squad, but to probably start against West Bromwich Albion.

During last weekend’s FIFA international break, David Luiz has impressed the former Juventus head coach with his training attitude and application and looks like he has managed to some way get back into the good books of the former Italy coach.

The centre-half was not called up to represent his National team Brazil which handed him enough time to continue training hard at the Chelsea’s Cobham training ground and Antonio Conte believes the defender has shown enough to deserve a place in the matchday squad.

The Blues take on West Brom on Saturday before travelling to play Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League next week.
