Reward For Hardwork: Hazard Bags Two Awards At Chelsea

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has won two awards at the club following his superb performance for the Blues throughout the course of this season.

The Chelsea talisman bagged two awards at the club’s end-of-the-season award ceremony held on Friday night.

Eden Hazard was named the Players’ Player of the Year and he also won the award for the best goal.

The goal of the season award was for his sensational strike against Liverpool in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

The Belgian international scored a solo goal to give Chelsea a 2-1 win over hosts Liverpool at Anfield in September.

Chelsea went on to reach the Carabao Cup final before they were beaten by defending champions Manchester City via penalties.

Eden Hazard has had a very good season for Chelsea who is desperate to hang on to him in the face of intense interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

He has a year left on his current contract at Chelsea and the player is not likely to sign a contract extension.

Hazard wants a dream move to Real Madrid this summer.

He has scored 16 goals and also provided 15 assists for Chelsea in the Premier League this season and his goal contributions have propelled the Blues to the Champions League after a one-year absence.
