Spanish Giants Join Race For 27-Year-Old Liverpool Target
Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid have joined other European teams in the race to sign Aaron Ramsey at the end of this season.
Arsenal midfielder Ramsey is almost certain to leave North London at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has already been told by the Arsenal hierarchy that he won’t be offered a new deal despite the fact he has less than one year left on his current Arsenal contract.
The uncertainty over his future at Arsenal has prompted transfer rumours involving the majority of the European heavyweights.
The Daily Express says that Real Madrid want to sign the Welsh international playmaker as a free transfer at the end of his Arsenal contract in the New Year.
The Champions League holders can start free transfer negotiations for Ramsey in January since the player can begin to discuss with interested clubs outside of England.
The Italian trio of Juventus, AC Milan and AS Roma, as well as Bavarian giants Bayern Munich, are rumoured to be interested in Ramsey and they can also initiate free transfer talks at the start of the New Year.
Premier League sides Liverpool, Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea are the English clubs interested in the former Cardiff City player.
