French international forward Nabil Fekir has set his sights on a move away from his club during next summer’s transfer window.
The 25-year-old talked about his desire to seal a summer move in an interview monitored by French news outlet L’Equipe.
Nabil Fekir currently plays his club football for French Ligue 1 giants Olympique Lyon.
He came close to leaving the Champions League campaigners during the summer’s transfer window but his move to Premier League side Liverpool fell through due to fears over the effects of a long-term knee injury.
The Reds had agreed to a fee of around £50m with Lyon for the Frenchman before the transfer broke down.
Recent reports claimed that the Reds are now third favourites in the race to sign him.
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are ahead of the Merseysiders in the race to sign him.
European champions Real Madrid are still on the lookout for an able replacement for Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner left the Spanish La Liga giants for Juventus in the summer.
On the other hand, Bayern Munich are seeking replacements for the aging duo of Frank Ribery and Arjen Robben and Nabil Fekir is one of their potential transfer targets.
