Merseyside giants Everton are plotting a summer move for defender Kurt Zouma according to reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.

The specific publication from The Sun revealed that the Toffees have been impressed with the form of the French defender since his move to the club at the start of the season.

Kurt Zouma joined Everton on loan from Chelsea last summer and he has formed a good partnership with Three Lions of England defender Michael Keane at the heart of the Toffees’ defence.

The Frenchman has previously talked about how he has been able to develop his game under the tutelage of Everton boss Marco Silva and his manager has also corroborated his sentiments.

Marco Silva has revealed that Everton want to make his loan transfer a permanent one when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

Zouma and Everton are in a keenly contested battle for a top-seven finish in the Premier League with six games left.

The likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Watford, West Ham United and Leicester City are in that battle with the Toffees.

Kurt Zouma was recently on target for Everton in what was the Toffees’ last league game.

Everton beat hosts and top-seven rival West Ham 2-0 with first-half goals from Kurt Zouma and Bernard.
