Inter Milan are in negotiations to land defender Davide Zappacosta from Premier League side Chelsea this summer window, as per reports.
According to Italian media reports, the Serie A giants are in talks to bring in Chelsea wing-back Davide Zappacosta from Stamford Bridge this summer window.
Inter seek defensive reinforcement
Italian outlet Sky Sport Italia, as cited by Sky Sports News, is claiming that Inter Milan are keen on recruiting a defender this summer transfer window after only a year at Stamford Bridge.
The same report states that the Serie A side are keen to land the 26-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Italian outfit Torino last summer window.
The report also suggests that the Blues could be ready to offload Davide Zappacosta – who is contracted to Chelsea until 2021 – for about £17.5m, which is about £5million less than they bought him a year ago.
Loan move a possibility
It is also claimed in the same report that the Blues could send the defender out on loan to the Serie A suitor next term, with the clause of making it permanent next season.
The West London club are thought to be in the transfer market for a couple of new recruits this summer window as they attempt to put together a team capable of winning the English Premier League next term.
