Premier League giant Arsenal have been told they will need to cough out the release clause to sign PSV’s Mexican winger, Hirving Lozano or forget bringing the player to The Emirates Stadium in the winter. The figure is thought to be about £30million, as per a report from The Mirror.
Dutch side PSV sees Hirving Lozano as a big asset and won’t allow him to leave the club cheaply, the player only joined the Dutch side last summer but has made an impressive start to life in the Eredivise.
After the Mexican joined from Pachuca, he netted six goals in his opening six games and is the first player to score for Dutch side PSV in his first three league matches for the club.
Gunners scouts have been closely watching the 22-year-old starlet for a while and club Chief Scout, Steve Rowley has told Arsenal board to sign the player for a fee of about £20million but it seems PSV are set to play hardball to get on what they think he’s valued for the player.
Hirving Lozano is touted as a good replacement for Chilean Alexis Sanchez despite Frenchman Thomas Lemar being Arsenal’s first choice but Ligue 1 side AS Monaco could hold the Gunners to ransom on the fee for Thomas Lemar now that they know Wenger’s team are looking to replace the Chilean after failed offer on the final day of the last transfer window.
