Ahead of the Tuesday premier league game against Watford, it has been made known that the Manchester United duo of Marouane Fellaini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have not travelled with the rest of the party that left for Vicarage Road on Monday night.
Jose Mourinho is leading his men to Watford hoping to earn all three points and put some pressure on league leaders Manchester City ahead of the weekend fixtures.
Man United are still eight points behind Pep Guardiola’s side and could once more reduce the gap to five by beating the Vicarage Road club on Tuesday night, before City’s game on Wednesday.
It appears manager Jose Mourinho won’t need the services of Marouane Fellaini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and has left them behind at home, alongside defender Luke Shaw.
It was also made known that the Portuguese tactician has recalled the trio of Matteo Darmian, Daley Blind and Jesse Lingard to his squad as they were spotted at the train station travelling with the rest of the guys.
According to Manchester Evening News, although Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were at the club’s training ground on Monday morning, they didn’t travel with the rest of the team in the evening.
The red devils are going for their third premier league win on a stretch as they continue a comeback from recent defeats to Chelsea and FC Basel.
