Chelsea manager drops major hint about January signings

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has dropped a major hint that he will ask the Chelsea board to sign a number of players in the January window to give his team renewed hope of competing favourably with Manchester City in the English Premier League title race.

The Skye Blues have been by far been the most consistent side in the English top flight this term, with the Citizens having only on one occasion dropped points so far this season to leave them eight points ahead at the apex of the log.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City came from one goal down to defeat Huddersfield Town 2-1 on Sunday as they continued their scintillating form in the Premier League.

The Blues, meanwhile, currently sit third on the table and 11 points adrift Pep Guardiola’s side as they try to catch with City in the race for the Premier League title.

Antonio Conte admits that he has been very impressed by the Citizen’s strong start to the new season and has hinted that his team will look to make huge reinforcements in the New year.

Antonio Conte’s men return to English Premier League duty on Wednesday night when they play host to Swansea City at home, after their 1-1 draw with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC on Saturday evening.
