Belgian international striker Michy Batshuayi has debunked transfer rumours claiming that his Valencia loan deal would be terminated when the transfer window reopens in January.
The 25-year-old is presently on a season-long loan deal at Spanish La Liga side Valencia from Premier League giants Chelsea.
He has largely struggled at the Mestalla Stadium during his loan spell with the Champions League campaigners.
Batshuayi has found the back of the net just once in 11 appearances in all competitions for Los Che thus leading to rumours that his temporary contract will be terminated in the New Year.
His Valencia form is in stark contrast to the impressive outings he enjoyed while he was with German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund in the second half of last season.
Batshuayi dismissed those loan termination reports after his match-winning heroics for Belgium in their UEFA Nations League meeting on Thursday night.
He scored two goals in the second half to lead Belgium to a 2-0 win over European minnows Iceland at home.
It was a victory that took the Red Devils to the brink of the semifinals.
The striker took his chance in the absence of first-choice player Romelu Lukaku who missed the Iceland game because of an injury.
