Manchester United Make Another Move To Sign Mathew Knox



At the moment, Manchester United are no fewer than 13 points behind EPL leaders Chelsea. Therefore, considering the gap and how blazing Chelsea are right now, we can easily say United should forget about winning the English Premier League this season.

Instead of focusing on some unrealistic goals, it is advisable that United coach Jose Mourinho should concentrate on something more realistic: Finishing In The Top Four. And right now, the red devils are just four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, as the fight for a Champions League ticket continues.

Everyone expects the Portuguese tactician to add more power to his present squad by signing some quality players in January. And as far as the latest Man United transfer news is concerned, Scottish forward Matthew Knox is once again in the news.

According to Daily Mail, after an impressive trial last summer, United were in talks with Livingston FC to sign the center forward in a deal worth £150,000.

Again, Daily Mail insisted that the Red Devils have handed another trial to the talented 17-year-old striker and are looking to make the same  £150,000 offer to finally secure the teenager’s signature.

This season so far, Matthew has made 5 appearances for the Scottish League One side, and has also played two games for the U17 national side.
