According to reports, Chelsea are ready to snatch Gareth Bale away from Manchester United’s grip and are set to match Jose Mourinho’s offer for the Real Madrid superstar.

Real Madrid paid Tottenham a whopping £87.5M for the Welshman’s signature in 2013 but he is likely to leave the Spanish capital next summer.

The management at Real Madrid are understood to be fed up with his constant injuries and are hoping to recoup a reasonable amount of the fee paid to sign him about four years ago.
