Manchester United have received a massive boost in their pursuit of Inter Milan winger, Ivan Perisic after boss Luciano Spalletti hinted at a possible move.
The Red Devils have been repeatedly linked with a move for the Croatian winger since last February after it emerged that United boss, Jose Mourinho made the initial approach to speaking with the player’s representatives.
It is understood that United have contacted Inter about the possibility of signing Perisic this summer, with reports that the 27-year-old is also keen on joining the Red Devils this summer after holding talks with Mourinho.
Although, Inter Milan is believed to be holding out for a fee around £57million which United are not ready to pay with suggestions that they want to sign Perisic for half that price.
However, Inter boss Luciano Spalletti has now hinted at a possible exit for Perisic, he said: ‘We must not convince anyone Inter is the best we can aspire to and they must convince us to be with Inter,
It is believed that Perisic’s arrival at the Old Trafford may spell doom for Anthony Martial who has struggled to make an impact under Jose Mourinho.
