The agent of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) midfielder Adrien Rabiot has met with two Premier League clubs namely Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
Both English top flight sides want to sign the young French midfielder in this January transfer window according to the publication from Spanish news outlet Sport.
Adrien Rabiot is a former Academy player at Premier League champions Manchester City and is said to favour a move to Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona over any other club but the Catalans want to wait to sign him on a free transfer only.
Rabiot, 23, has six months remaining on his current PSG contract meaning that he is permitted to negotiate with clubs outside of France.
His agent and mother Veronique has already met with Tottenham and Liverpool to discuss a possible transfer.
Both clubs want to sign him in January, unlike Barcelona.
PSG officials would be hoping they can get a sizeable fee for him in January rather than lose him for free at the end of the season.
He has already been frozen out of the PSG team as confirmed by the French club’s sporting director Antero Henrique and that the decision was taken as a consequence of the player’s decision not to sign a new contract extension.
