Edinson Cavani

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) striker Edinson Cavani is certain that he wants to stay at the club for next season despite the fact that his contract will expire next summer.

The Uruguayan international player has one year left on his contract with the French giants and he could be sold this summer to ensure that PSG recoup some of the money spent on him rather than let him walk away from the club for free.

Edinson Cavani has been linked with several clubs with his future at PSG uncertain as things stand.

The former Palermo and Napoli striker has been linked with a move to Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.

He spoke about his future after the 4-0 win Dijon at home on Saturday.

The Dijon game could be his final game for PSG at the Parc des Princes.

Cavani is in the same situation as teammate Thomas Meunier who also has one year left on his contract with the French champions.

Belgian international star Meunier has spent three years at PSG and he has one year left on his current deal.

He has been strongly linked with Premier League giants Manchester United who are in the market for a new right-back.
