Club Trying To Meet Financial Fair Play Regulations, Expected To Sell Star To Liverpool Soon

Roma star player Mohamed Salah has been in the news recently and has been seriously linked with Liverpool.

It is understood that his agent Ramy Abbas was in London last week to hold talks with the Anfield club over a summer deal. It was also claimed that the African star has agreed on a personal deal that will see him go home with £90,000 each week.

However, his Serie A club continues to demand a transfer fee of around £42 Million after they reportedly rejected a bid of £28M from Liverpool last week.

And as Jurgen Klopp’s side continue negotiations with Roma over a transfer fee for the Egypt international, his agent has broken the silence to deliver a cryptic update on social media.

Ramy posted on Twitter: ‘Sometimes, good things come to those who don’t wait’, and the tweet has amassed a handful of likes and retweets.

However, it is understood that the Italian club is open to selling Salah as they need to offload one of their key players before the end of June so as to meet Financial Fair Play regulations – which gives Liverpool some hopes.

Meanwhile, it appears Jurgen Klopp isn’t putting his eggs in one basket as the Anfield club are said to have begun talks with Sporting for Gelson Martins should in case Salah’s deal wouldn’t sail through.
